That&#039;s a very interesting post. You know, I agree that stress can cause you to overeat, thus causing weight gain, but want to know something else?

Stress raises your cortisol levels. And you know what cortisol does? It lowers your metabolism. If you have a low metabolism, it is easier for you to gain weight.

A low metabolism can also cause an increase in feeling sluggish and lazy.
