Managing Stress
Hopefully you’ve worked your way through each of the steps to get to this point. There has been a lot of valuable information presented to help you determine just what events in your life cause you stress and how your beliefs either add or remove stress from those situations.

Well, now you’re here. This is where we talk about what to do with that stress that you still have. I mean, I assume you haven’t yet been able to remove events from your life that cause you stress, and you haven’t yet been able to change the way you feel about those events. In order to really successfully deal with stress in your life, your long-term focus should be on those two areas: activating events and beliefs. But in the short term, you need a way to relieve yourself of that stress. If you don’t, well, something’s got to give.
Let’s don’t let that happen. Follow along in the next several sections of the Stress Relief Action Guide to explore ways you can relieve that stress and make your life bearable again. Maybe the stress relievers we cover will become new hobbies or passions for you, that not only reduce your stress but bring happiness to you and those around you.
